Stephen Brent Cheatwood (dob: May 21st 1983)
Stephen is a current resident of the 2nd house remodeled by the Wishes 4 Me Foundation. The
house is for physically challenged young men. The house is called "Steve's Home". Steve is a
proud individual who values his independence but has Freidriech's Ataxia (FA); which is a
devastating neuromuscular disease. Even with his set-backs, he still works as hard as he can
to be independent. Stephen schedules a bi-weekly event at his new home where several of his
friends come to play video games. Steve, also, has a part-time job and manages his day-to-day
activities for himself. When Steve was younger he was very athletic but as time went on his
disease got worse and worse. He does, however, try everything he can to slow his progression by
staying as physically active as he can.
Steve has turned his challenges into opportunities. We need to make sure that Steve continues to
have a safe, fun and affordable home to live in.
Is it our place, to help those who are in need? Please, help us by making a donation to the Wishes
4 Me Foundation or by finding out other ways in which you can help the foundation to build a community
for disabled adults. We have various fund raising projects like collecting deactivated cell phones
or printer cartridges that can help us. Please contact us today to help.
